Faith to Deliver | Faith to Conquer | Faith to Embrace

Regardless of the strength of your faith my prayer is this reality would sink in. As you grow in your relationship with Jesus it will trigger …

  • Faith for deliverance from your past chaos.

““You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. ””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17:20‬

  • Faith for conquering your present circumstances.

“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:7‬

  • Faith for embracing His future in relation to your life’s calling.

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬

When I Pray … with faith

AG Pray

“When I pray, I fumble through my words.”

“When I pray, I feel like I’m a track on repeat.”

“When I pray, I feel like I’ve hit a glass ceiling and God’s not hearing me.”

These are constant thoughts I wrestle with when I think about prayer.  I have learned one thing when it comes to prayer: If the Bible says it, I believe it and THAT settles it.

Faith is at the very core of effective prayer.

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”  Hebrews 11:

So … how do we put combine this and make it work?  If I am praying for something I have not seen materialize, I read the Bible and find out what God says about the matter. There may be moments where my situation, my sickness, my relationships, my mountains contradict what God says about my life. In that moment I choose to side with what God says, NOT the situation.  At that point, I simply believe what the Scripture says and thank God it has been done.

I challenge you to join me.

What if our prayers, lifted in faith, in Jesus name could INFLUENCE our lives and world?

True Confessions of an Associate Pastor : Amazed

So I was completely serious when I said go home and look up how many times you find the word “amazed” in the New Testament.  Pretty much every time Jesus showed up on the scene, Scripture says the people were amazed at His teaching, His Power, and His authority.  However, in this particular passage, Jesus HIMSELF was amazed.  I want to be like that guy that impressed Jesus so much with such faith!  I have such a long way to go but I won’t let that stop me.  Let’s go!

“When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.””
